Organizations should consult qualified advisers and apply their own policies, professional judgment, and legal obligations.

Not medical care, diagnosis, or treatment

Memory Bright offers engagement activities based on principles associated with reminiscence therapy. Memory Bright is not a memory test, medical device, clinical treatment, diagnostic service, healthcare provider, professional caregiving service, emergency service, or replacement for professional care. No healthcare provider-patient, therapist-patient, attorney-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship is created through use of the Partner website, application demonstrations, or related content.

Research and outcomes

Research concerning reminiscence approaches describes a broader field and does not guarantee that Memory Bright will produce a particular result for any individual, family, caregiver, or organization. People may respond differently from day to day. Examples, testimonials, screenshots, pilot descriptions, and statements about possible benefits illustrate potential uses and do not guarantee recognition, improved memory, reduced decline, behavior management, engagement, satisfaction, staff efficiency, retention, financial performance, or any clinical, behavioral, caregiving, operational, or financial outcome.

Organizational and caregiver responsibility

Care organizations, professional caregivers, and families remain responsible for determining whether an activity or item of content is appropriate; obtaining required permissions and consents; respecting privacy and dignity; providing suitable judgment, assistance, and supervision; following care plans and organizational policies; maintaining required documentation; and complying with applicable professional standards and law.

Particular care may be required when a participant has cognitive, behavioral, mobility, swallowing, sensory, trauma-related, or other health or safety concerns. Familiar photographs, music, voices, videos, or stories may produce an unexpected emotional response. Pause, stop, or change an activity if it causes distress or creates a safety concern, and seek appropriate professional support when needed.

No monitoring, alerts, or crisis response

Memory Bright does not continuously monitor a person, assess or detect a change in condition, verify caregiver actions, alert healthcare professionals, provide protective services, or provide crisis or emergency intervention. Do not rely on the Partner website, application, Family Updates, or other Memory Bright feature for urgent health, safety, medication, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, or caregiving decisions.

For a medical or mental-health emergency, suspected abuse or neglect, a missing person, or an immediate threat to any person, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency or protective service and follow the organization’s established emergency procedures.

Family Updates and care communications

Family Updates are designed to share selected positive moments and Life Album additions with authorized recipients. They are not a clinical record, care-plan entry, incident report, medication record, condition-change notice, emergency notification, staffing communication, or replacement for required care documentation and operational communication. Organizations and users are responsible for using their established systems for clinical, legal, safety, and time-sensitive communications.

Privacy, HIPAA, and sensitive information

Do not submit medical records, Social Security numbers, full payment-card numbers, account passwords, protected health information, or other highly sensitive personal information through the public Partner website, inquiry forms, or public demonstrations. Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, Memory Bright is not acting as a healthcare provider, health plan, healthcare clearinghouse, or business associate under HIPAA for these public website interactions, and the Partner website should not be treated as a HIPAA-compliant channel.

If an organization enters a separate agreement for a Memory Bright service, that organization remains responsible for determining which privacy, health-information, consent, recordkeeping, and security requirements apply and for using the service only as permitted by the applicable agreement and law.

Demonstrations, examples, and future features

Demonstrations, prototypes, screenshots, workflow descriptions, integration concepts, and roadmap references may show illustrative or planned functionality. They may not reflect the exact design, availability, limits, security configuration, or performance of a production service. Memory Bright may modify or discontinue features, content, programs, or integration plans. A binding commitment exists only when stated in an applicable written agreement.

Third-party content and services

Articles, activities, demonstrations, prompts, and resources may reference or link to outside organizations, research, websites, or services. External content and services are provided for convenience. Memory Bright does not control or endorse them and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, completeness, privacy, security, accessibility, terms, or practices. A third party’s name, mark, or resource remains subject to that party’s rights and terms.

Website availability, accuracy, and security

To the extent permitted by law, the Partner website, demonstrations, and content are provided without guarantees of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability, security, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or results. Errors, interruptions, outdated information, and security incidents may occur. Memory Bright may correct, update, suspend, or remove content without notice. These limitations do not exclude a warranty, duty, remedy, or right that cannot lawfully be waived.

No reliance on public website statements

An organization should not make purchasing, clinical, staffing, compliance, security, integration, or investment decisions solely from public website statements. Before relying on a capability or commitment, confirm it in current product documentation and an applicable written agreement.
